The Area
The perfect Mediterranean climate of the Soller valley has nurtured the production of the finest oranges and lemons in the world. A relaxing holiday is assured, gazing at boats gliding in and out of the harbour, people watching by the water or in the cafes of the square of Soller. Relaxing on the beach or following one of the many picturesque paths in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range that surround the lovely Soller valley.

The waterfront at the Port is lined with pavement restaurants and bars offering local wines, holiday cocktails and a delicious variety of cuisines.  Situated close to the apartments, the Santa Catalina restaurants offer a rich variety of speciality Mallorcan dishes. There are also gourmet take-aways, supermarkets and a chemist and medical centre nearby.

Port of Soller
The Port of Soller is set in a natural horse-shoe bay and is the perfect setting for any holiday.

At one side of the bay you have the harbour with its mix of fishing boats and yachts, as well as the larger boat which takes you around to the beautiful small bay of Sa Colobra.

At the other side of the bay you have the golden sandy beach of Repic which is the idea place for sunbathing, taking a swim in the sea (which shelves gently for children) or hiring a paddle boat.

There is also an underwater diving school for the more adventurous as well as tremendous hiking routes that snake around the rocky coastline.

And in between the two are a mix of terrific restaurants, cafe bars and shops.

The charm of the Port has been maintained by the fact that it is small and friendly, and has not been over-commercialised.

Port Soller Tram

The small ex-San Francisco tram leaves the bay every half hour to take you the 15 minute journey to the inland town of Soller - another delight !

Soller Square

Soller
In contrast to the Port, the larger town of Soller is a beautiful working mallorcan town set around a large square.  Here you can relax while having a morning coffee....or maybe eat tapas before shopping down the main street of "La Luna"....and for a little more retail therapy catch the old wooden train to Palma !
Deia and Deia Beach
Deia is a beautiful village in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca which was made famous by the poet Robert Graves, and in later years by the stars who live and holiday in the hills around the village.
Approached by the most spectacular views along the mountain road, Deia is made up of a main street of small unique shops and A-list restaurants.

Deia beach is a charming party sandy - part rocky cove with crystal clear waters and two fabulous waterside restaurants.

Valldemossa
Valldemossa

Valldemossa is a picturesque mountain village which is a beautiful, if sometimes hair-raising, drive from Soller along the mountain coast road.  It is lovely to explore the streets, visit the small unique shops, see the monastery where Chopin once stayed and generally soak up the atmosphere of this Mallorcan village
